SEO Specialist

About the role
We're looking for an SEO Specialist to drive organic growth for SeekMySpace. You'll own our search engine visibility — from technical SEO and site architecture to content optimization and link building.
What you'll do
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis for commercial space categories
- Optimise on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headings, structured data)
- Audit and improve technical SEO (site speed, crawlability, indexing, schema markup)
- Develop and execute link-building strategies
- Collaborate with the content team to produce SEO-optimised articles and landing pages
- Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversions; report on progress
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years of SEO experience with measurable results
- Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Analytics, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush)
- Understanding of technical SEO concepts (Core Web Vitals, structured data, canonicalization)
- Experience with keyword research and on-page optimization at scale
- Good understanding of HTML and how search engines crawl websites
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Local SEO experience for multi-city businesses
- Experience with programmatic SEO strategies
- Familiarity with Google Maps and local business listings
