Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About the role
We're building the SeekMySpace mobile app from the ground up. As our Mobile Engineer, you'll lead the development of our React Native app for iOS and Android, creating a seamless experience for seekers and owners on the go.
What you'll do
- Build and ship the SeekMySpace mobile app using React Native (Expo)
- Implement native-like performance and smooth animations
- Integrate with device capabilities (camera, location, push notifications)
- Work closely with the web team to share components and business logic where possible
- Set up CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds and app store releases
- Monitor crash reports and resolve mobile-specific issues
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years of mobile development experience with React Native
- Published at least one app on the App Store or Google Play
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills
- Experience with mobile navigation patterns and state management
- Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences
- Familiarity with push notifications and deep linking
Nice to have
- Experience with Expo and EAS Build
- Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development
- Experience with map integrations and geolocation
- Interest in offline-first architectures
